Lack of consideration are we?

In a matter of 2 days my car has now aquired yet another scarr, this time some asshole decides that opening his car door softly is not manly enuff for him and he decides to open it with all his strength. Leaving a nice bit of (his) paint on my car door.

Though the physical damage to my car is minimal, and the paint he left on my door can be removed (with a lot of work and elbow grease), aren't we becoming a people of inconsiderateness aye? Does that mean I shld also scratch any car I park next to in future and run/leave/fly as fast as I can if I do leave my mark, not even leaving a note to apologize?

The next time I see someone open their door hard against mine, I will take his head for a practise swing with my make shift base ball bat. Maybe that will knock some considerateness into them.
